Haley Naebig, New Home Specialist for Level Homes, won the 2021 Market Proof Award for Video Email Superstar. Her energy and confidence on camera and her successful implementation of different ways to use email in marketing and follow-up earned her the top spot.
Haley is the only online sales consultant for Level Homes, which is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but she works closely with the rest of the Level Homes sales and marketing team. She started out using video email by sending BombBomb videos to people who hadn’t responded a few days after they submitted a lead. Now, she has added other forms of video email into her process and found it to be a successful way to stay in front of potential homebuyers.
Roughly every quarter, she sends out a video email just to touch base with the shoppers in her follow-up pipeline. She also uses video email for reaching out to those who are on VIP and coming soon community lists, which the company has had more of the past year. Because they’ve sold out of a lot of communities, she’s had to nurture leads for longer. Video email has been a great tool to keep people engaged while they’re on a waiting list.
She also works directly with the marketing department on their mass email campaigns. If they’re highlighting an available home, she’ll record a quick tour of the home to send out to the email addresses in the CRM system.
Haley shoots a lot of the videos on her own - selfie-style, which makes the videos feel more personal. Haley said she gets one or two takes and sends it to Caroline Boudreaux, Level Home’s Marketing Director, who does a little editing, adding text or additional footage of the community. Overall, they strive to keep the process quick and easy so they can get the video out to their audience sooner.
Haley’s advice to anyone wanting to create more video emails is to do a few takes until you’re comfortable but to not let trying to make it perfect stop you. Haley’s willingness to jump into video email and her positive energy on camera has led to video becoming a successful part of Level Homes’ online sales and marketing strategy.
