2021 Market Proof Awards | Best Social Ad Campaign | Creative Homes

2021 Market Proof Awards | Best Social Ad Campaign | Creative Homes

Jan 28, 2022 | By Julie Jarnagin

Creative Homes, a builder in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, won the 2021Market Proof Award for Best Social Ad Campaign. Jenna Sundstrom was behind their Why Creative Homes social ad, which focused on their real-life homeowner photos and testimonials.

When they chose this brand-focused social ad strategy, they were seeing a lot of sales and didn’t have struggling communities that needed extra attention. Therefore, they wanted to use the time to stay top-of-mind for potential home buyers and remind people why Creative Homes does what they do. Beyond simply building homes, Jenna said their brand is about focusing on the customer, giving people great customer service, and delivering an unmatched customer experience.

It was important to Creative Homes to keep the campaign as authentic and on-brand as possible by using their actual homeowners. The campaign was simple to put into action because they had all the content needed to create it. According to Jenna, they had already been gathering photos of homeowners with their Creative Homes branded signs. Through surveys and personal contact with homeowners, they had also been collecting testimonials about why the homeowners loved their new home and a little about their process with Creative Homes.

In the end, the ad had a lot of engagement, and Creative Homes saw great results. Much of the campaign’s success came from paying attention to what was needed during a unique market and implementing the right campaign when it made the most sense.

It all came down to doing something that told the authentic story of their brand at just the right time.
