For many markets in the Unites States right now selling homes is not the biggest challenge. Getting new home sites approved and developed at reasonable prices, and keeping home construction on-time seems to be number one. I even spoke with one large builder who has exceeded his yearly sales goal that management thought was aggressive – on June 1st.

Sales and marketing leaders: now is the time to break something.

If you are going to take a risk, try something new, or transform a part of your process that is antiquated – now’s the time. You don’t have to break the WHOLE thing… but the part of it that you know – in your gut – isn’t as good as it could be.

What should you break first? The part with the biggest upside, or the part that will smack you in the face the hardest when the market swings back down.
