The portal is accessible via a mobile application or desktop login. It serves as a central hub for communication, providing customers with a progress bar that shows where they are in the home-buying process. It also includes a photo gallery where customers can see hundreds of images of their home under construction week by week, as well as blog articles and education pieces to help them understand their current stage in the process.
The goal of the portal is to provide the ultimate customer experience by streamlining communication and building trust with customers. The results have been impressive, with around 8,000 active users and approximately 300-400 people using the application daily.
The feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the application's ability to provide them with a sense of control and transparency throughout the home-buying process. Overall, the MyM/IHome Portal has been a huge success for M/I Homes and their customers, making the home-buying process more seamless and enjoyable for everyone involved.
