Eagle Construction had tried to implement an online sales program in the past but hadn’t dedicated the resources it needed. So they had gotten rid of the program entirely. This time, they wanted to make sure they did it right.
They had already determined they needed to start an online program, and when the pandemic hit, they knew it would be crucial for their business. After testing out online chat and getting a significant response, Kellye and the team at Eagle knew it was time to hire someone for the position.
They considered different options but ultimately chose someone already on the Eagle Construction sales team. The new online sales specialist already understood the company’s process and the area and communities where they build. Her previous sales training also helped her dive right into the position.
They started her off in the Do You Convert Online Sales Academy, which taught her the tools and skills she needed to set appointments. With so many leads coming in at the time, she had to hit the ground running.
Kellye urges anyone considering an online sales program to start as soon as possible. She also encourages other new home marketers to keep an eye on trends from other successful builders. It has been a little over a year since they started the program. Their online sales contribution rate continues to grow, and the program now plays a critical role in their sales process.
