Following a strong DYC legacy of building a career path that is entirely unrelated to one’s college degree and field of study, Rachel enters the marketing world with a degree in dance and political science, as well as a background in education and nonprofit management.
Rachel brings the creativity, critical analysis, and people and process skills she honed in these diverse fields to her craft as a marketer. With over seven years of experience in marketing and events, Rachel brings innovation and marketing wisdom to her work with Do You Convert from her previous roles as a freelance entrepreneur, agency-side account manager, EdTech content manager, and small-but-mighty in-house marketing team manager.
Rachel’s start as a marketing manager for a private, family-owned builder in Georgia and South Carolina broadened her perspective on what it takes to win in this unique industry, while deepening her technical and creative skill sets in brand building, digital marketing strategies, data analytics, copywriting, campaign planning, and content creation. Before completing her first year in the industry, she led her team to win Best Marketing Campaign of the Year from their local Homebuilder Association for the company’s 20th anniversary campaign. She looks forward to using her talents and expertise to grow the DYC brand as a way of giving back to those whose role she knows from the inside out.
When Rachel isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her family or traveling to see friends and favorite bands all over the country.
