metro_brokersOK…I try to keep this site focused for homebuilders but this is too cool to pass up.

This is how all searches for a resale home should work – it’s beautiful. Check it out here: ColoradoHomeStop.com

Colorado-based Metro Brokers, Inc. unveiled a new real estate search site at ColoradoHomeStop.com. The site uses a map-based interface to guide users to neighborhoods and specific listings in Colorado markets. Using Google Maps’ platform, it offers a fast search as the pages do not have to load each time a section of the map is clicked on. The initial launch includes access to nearly all Denver metro listings from the Metrolist MLS.

  • I agree.. This is bad to the bone!

When my wife and I purchased our most recent home, we looked at resale and new construction. When the Realtor sent over listings to me, I went to google earth and searched the address to see if the home was located near busy roads, train tracks, shopping centers, etc…

Their program let’s you see where the home is on the street! Another site that is similar to this is http://www.homepages.com.

I think as an industry we need to be forward thinking and offer the customers what they want and need in terms of research to help them find us! It seems like most builders are most concerned with directional signs!

  • Roald,

Great job! I remember when I saw the firs Craigslist/Google Mashup and thought to myself “This will change Real Estate search” It kept me up late into the night thinking about the possibilities.

The site is fabulous. Keep up the great work!
