Hi Mike,
>>Buyers are more than a little reluctant right now to walk through that door considering the economic climate.<<

Given the unsure state of many consumers today, obtaining and nurturing a connection through social media is even more important and it's more effective. How do you stay in touch with unsure consumers for months at a time? Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter are great ways. Like your thoughts above, follow up isn't just about a follow up phone call or email any more.

Thanks for showing us how it's done.

It's a challenge. Hopefully - the tough market is forcing some builders to shift their thinking. The best thing you can do is site specifics. Use the statistics from NAR studies, Pew Internet and more to show that the buyers are definitely online.

Hi Mike
I am an Internet Marketing Specialist and as of late I have had some challenges with convincing people in the building industry that the next generation of home builders are here. It seems to me that so many that I speak to are "stuck" in the traditional marketing methods and give no credence to the Generation X & Y buyers that are online looking for their new or first home. What is your advice on convincing them and in what ways would you suggest marketing to this new demographic?

Hi Mike, congratulations on having your book added to the NAHB book list! I just read ‘Browsers To Buyers’. The overwhelming thought I had throughout the book is ‘every home building sales and marketing professional needs to read this book and deploy its principles’.

You talk about a simple A-Z guide to success; ‘Browsers To Buyers’ is it. This is a must for every new home builder.

You are both an entrepreneur and an industry leader; Simmons Homes and the home building industry are lucky to have your contributions. I would not only recommend this book to all builders, but would add that if builders are not employing the tactics in ‘Browsers To Buyers’ they are losing sales.
