Lose the “Dumb” Phone

Are you looking like Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell. Time to lose the “dumb” phone and upgrade your primary communication tool.

I even wrote this whole post using the WordPress app on my iPhone. Grabed a screenshot of the Zack pic, tweeted out the link, sent to facebook and posted on linkedin. A true miracle of modern technology.

(on a side note, I use my iPhone so much my wife has threatened to flush it down the toilet multiple times. Guess that is the side effect of a connected world. Does anyone else experience this?)

Thanks for converting me months ago. Now I'm actually thinking about getting one of those fancy shmancy tippy-tappy thingy's that you can actually take around with you. You know, it's silver and has a half eaten apple on the front. What's the world coming to.

Dude - you definitely have to! I upgraded about 2+ months ago and as Kramer from Seinfeld would say "I'm out there and I'm loving every minute of it" Little bit of a learning curve on some applications but overall I am extremely impressed.

I am a fan of HTC Droid phone & love the smart phone apps - haven't tried blogging from it yet, but definitely been using it for tweets and Facebook

I'm glad the Droid came out - good to have competition with the iPhone. What is your thought on comparing the two phones?

Well I haven't played with the iPhone too much, but I like that most of the apps on the Droid are free. I like that I can access 4 different email accounts although I do wish I could access my 2nd work email account. The camera is great. I am definitely a fan of the HTC Droid (the most iPhone similar and also looks to be most similar to the Nexus One, the Motorola was too clunky for me. I loved mine so much that my sister went out and got one a week later....

Just upgraded to iPhone 3GS. Love the iPhone for its apps. Mobile blog posting, blog reading, Tweetie 2, Facebook, Evernote & some games when I have downtime. My life is incredibly more productive, easier, because of my phone.

My better half used to threaten throwing my phone down the toilet, too, so I just gave him my old 3G, to level the playing field.

That's hilarious. I did the same thing for my wife - gave her my hand-me-down...she said she didn't even want it - now she is hooked too :)
