Hi Mike, just had a chance to see the post with Seth Godin…terrific interview. His blog is a daily ritual for me and always provides a few nuggets everyday.

The interview is insightful for the entire industry we serve. Great stuff.

I met you a few years back at one of Myers training seminars in Orlando. I too am a raving Seth Godin fan as I’ve read many of his books and subscribe to his blog.

You are absolutely correct about the housing industry’s lack of marketing savvy. I call it “one-step” marketing where we are all looking for our next customer. What we should be doing is “multi-step” marketing and looking for permission to build a relationship with our next prospect.

I’ve posted a video on my website that shows the difference between the two. A lot of the ideas are based on Seth Godin’s philosophy. Great job on the interview!
