Twitter for home builders

Twitter is gaining some steam in the home building community. So is anybody listening? I think so…

Will consumers respond? I hope so… I do think that builders will have a better chance connecting with Realtors first – since this group might want to hear their message – especially if it will help them sell more homes. I say we just keep using it and we’ll see what starts to work.

For those of you still mystified by Twitter, see the video below.

Guy Kawasaki also has a great tutorial on how to pick up followers here…

How are you using Twitter? Is it working – any great testimonials?

  • Hi Mike,
Twitter is most definitely a tool to keep us connected to information we want in a convenient way (cell phone) and in real time. Just like the Internet, Twitter helps us get what we want when we want it. And just as the Internet took time for consumers and business to adapt, we will all adapt to Twitter in due time. I suggest we all start figuring it out now so that when consumers adapt by the masses, we as builders, are ready to deliver.

Thank you for leading the way. No one in our industry is more visibly blazing a trail in social media like you. Keep it up. We all desperately need it.
